One strike against the idea that Jesus never existed is that this idea has not been found in writing until the late 1700’s.
This is very important because if Jesus never existed, then we should have writings stating such from the enemies (and others) of Christianity from the first century onward. We don’t have any and the writings we do have all take Jesus’ existence as a fact.
