There are many different gods and demigods that get compared to Jesus and who are offered as potential inspirations for the life of Jesus. One of the most popular is Horus. In fact one of the most popular of my Youtube Shorts is about Jesus and Horus.
Is there any connection between Jesus and Horus? The answer is: yes and no.

If the question is about similarities between Horus and Jesus, they are very minor. Horus had supernatural elements to his conception, he did die and he was brought back to life. But despite the claims of Mythicists, Horus was not born of a virgin, was not crucified, was not raised on the third day, and did not have twelve followers.
There is no reason to believe that the Gospel writers were drawing on the legends of Horus in recording the life of Jesus.
However, after the writing of the New Testament, there was some borrowing. The most obvious was in art. Some of the first depictions of baby Jesus and Mary were based off existing art of baby Horus and Isis. It is also likely that some of the post-biblical development of Mary’s identity may have been influenced by the legends of Isis.
These things do not mean that Jesus never existed or that Jesus was originally based on Horus. Arguments against Mythicism do not require that there exist a complete lack of connection.
