Ehrman, Bart

Bart Denton Ehrman (1955-) is a former evangelical Christian and present agnostic scholar in the area of the New Testament. Many of Ehrman’s books have been aimed at shaking confidence in the reliability of the New Testament. Atheists have been attracted to Ehrman’s work but were surprised that he did not support the Jesus Myth Theory. After repeated assumptions about his view of Jesus, Ehrman responded with his book, Did Jesus Exist? which is an excellent response to the Jesus Myth Theory.
